Chancel Choir

     The Chancel Choir leads Traditional worship every Sunday at 11:00 am by performing a wide variety of sacred music. The choir performs a yearly Christmas Cantata, special Easter programs, and other special occasions. They are directed by David Childers, Minister of Music; and they are  accompanied by Ms. Patti Clements, Pianist, and Mr. Tom Owens, Organist. Chancel Choir rehearses on Wednesday nights from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm. New members are always welcomed. Join us for a rehearsal this Wednesday evening. Childcare is provided

Praise Team

      The Praise Team leads the First Light Service on Sundays at 9:00 am. They perform a variety of contemporary Christian music. Rehearsal for the Praise Team is every Monday from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm. New members are invited to join Praise Team for a rehearsal this Monday evening.

H.E.A.R.T.S.

The Student Youth H.E.A.R.T.S. program meets on Sunday evenings @ 5:45 pm at the Family Life Center. This program provides all students (Grades 7 - 12) with worship, fellowship, and service opportunities in handbells, tech ministry, drama, dance, arts, music, and puppetry. There are also service opportunities included in this ministry.

Golden Singers

      Golden Singers is the Senior Adult Choir at First Baptist Church. They perform programs at the nursing homes in Orangeburg and Calhoun counties and during special events, with a varitey of music. They are lead by Mrs. Barbara Haigler and accompanied by Mrs. Linda Sanders. They rehearse on Tuesday at 11:00 am.
