If these statements describe you, we invite you to join FIT! Our new First Impressions Team is looking for YOU! From Parking Lot to Participant will be our goal for this new ministry; we are building a team to be a part of the following ministries:
- Parking Lot Welcome Team
- Greeters
- Ushers
- Guest Follow-up Team (phone calls, e-mails, letters)
- Worship Welcome Team (This one is for everyone who attends worship!)
- Bible Study Greeters
- Special Event Welcome Team

Welcome Worship Team
Greeters
Each Sunday morning a team of smiling faces and welcoming hugs and handshakes greet us to First Baptist Church. Connie Varn and her team welcome you to church and also greet guests with a gift bag, information about the church, and answer questions about the ministries and provide directions to Bible Study and childcare. This team is currently looking for additional members. Interested? Let us know of your interest and we will give you more details.
Parking Lot Welcome Team
- We will soon begin to have youth and adults serving as our Parking Lot Welcome Team. They will:
- Serve in the parking lots for 1/2 hour before each worship service.
- Greet and direct guests to guest parking.
- Assist and provide directions to our Welcome Area, Bible Study, or our Children's Area, according to the family needs.
- Introduce themselves and be a FIT (First Impressions Team) Member.
